First I doubted to get a pleated skirt, because I’m tiny, so the proportion doesn’t look right anymore. It happened often that I ordered a long skirt online and the result was that it wasn’t what I expected. On photo’s it always looks perfect. Credits for that, but in the end on the individual it’ll turn out differently. Though I couldn’t resist, so I added the pleated skirt to the shopping cart on the website of Zara. WHOOSH and it’s gone!
When I took the pleated skirt on, I didn’t know how to combine it with other clothes, HELP! I think I tried three different sweaters to see if it matched, but unfortunately no. After a search in my closet, I found a white cropped top from D. Brand. For the ones who aren’t familiar with D. Brand, it’s a Swedish brand that exists since 2006.
The creative director David Pirzadeh and Kim Pirzadeh have founded the brand D. Brand. They started in a basement in Kungsholmen-Stockholm, in Sweden, with designing clothes, but besides clothing, they also had a label called D. Brand Music. How cool is that?
The designs that they make are in almost every aspect simple, clean and elegant for both men and women. Meanwhile the brand is in several sales outlets available, such as New York, Paris, Oslo and Amsterdam. If you think of D. Brand, then you immediately think of exclusivity, quality and affordable. By wearing D. Brand, you’ll feel unique. The slogan is: ‘look good, feel good!’
Besides wearing the white cropped top, I have chosen for ecru ankle boots with heels from Zara. The colour is perfect for autumn. The ankle boots got a golden accent on the heel, which I moreover find very beautiful! Besides the clothes and shoes, as an accessory I have chosen for a Bordeaux choker from Zaful, a bag from Micheal Kors and a watch from Henry London.
Tell me, were you already familiar with D. Brand?
