2 ways to style bootcut trousers from Monki

As you may have noticed, I do not stick to a particular clothing style. As I stated earlier in the post Pyjamas, patches, stripes, transparent, elephants – a mixed outfit I create my outfits that depends on various factors such as weather, mood, season and so on. In this article I show a garment that I combined in two different ways.

But first something else. Do you know that feeling when you stand in front of your wardrobe and say to yourself over and over again that you need new clothes? Because that happens to me so often, whereas I’ve just bought new clothes or have garments in the wardrobe with a price tag, OOPS! I am also inclined to continually wear the same clothes. Is it the comfort zone or something? I really do not know! Though, I am aware of this and I’m trying lately to mix and match clothing. So I did this with the black bootcut trousers from Monki. These trouser with wide trouser legs give me a 70’s vibe.

As you can see in the pictures, one is more slightly sportier and more casual than the other. That’s because of the striped bomber jacket from Weekday. If you are replacing it with a beautiful blazer it will looks neater and more elegant. So that’s what I did with my 2nd look. Thanks to the lace top and pajamas blazer I’m ready to go to an event, dinner or office 😉 So you see that combining can be pretty simple.

LOOK 1: bootcut trousers from Monki, top, bomber jacket from Weekday, floral bag from &anotherstorie and the black shoes from Zara

LOOK 2: bootcut trousers and pajamas blazer from Monki, top from Weekday, red bag from &anotherstorie and the red shoes from Zara.

What look do you like best?

XOXO
